Hi
I went to the Pronamic Pay website to look for answers to these questions but things were not completely clear and/or information missing, and there is no ‘pre-sales’ enquiry option there — so I post here.
I am looking at the Basic subscription option — we don’t need Adyen and being a charity we are trying to keep costs down.
We are a charity based in The Netherlands. I understand Pronamic Pay supports Mollie — good we already have a Mollie account and are using it via another plugin (no need to name it here). I will also look at the direct options to iDEAL from the various Dutch banks available in Pronamic Pay.
I see that Pronamic Pay does not support WP Forms (well maybe better to say the lack is the other way round, the lack is in WP Forms) which we use. So some questions regarding forms (which I could not see addressed on the Pronamic Pay website):
- Is it a hard necessity to need to use a forms plugin as well as Pronamic Pay. So WordPress + some form plugin + Pronamic Pay = donations processing. OR is it possible to ’embed’ a simple form made in Pronamic Pay inside a WordPress page? That is — there is no need (for simple payments) to use a separate forms plugin.
- If a forms plugin is a must to be able to use Pronamic Pay then which would you recommend for a (not rich) charity. ‘Give’ looks OK but we would be ‘giving’ too much €€ to them. Is ‘Charitable’ (free version) OK? It seems the free (on the WP Plugins site) is limited in the options for payment gateways i.e. Pronamic Pay.
Sorry for long query, again I would ask on your website but no option there.
