Hi, I saw a sort of related question (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/exclude-form-data-into-excerpts/) but the code suggestions were specific to either a nav menu, or to Divi. My question is about form fields in the page content, and I’m not using Divi.
I wanted to see if there’s a way to exclude form fields from indexing and/or from being used in the search result excerpts. If you use the link I gave you’ll see that a search for ‘western’ returns a page for the sole reason that it has a form with a country select list and one of the options is ‘Western Sahara’. Worse, it returns the unformatted country list as the excerpt. Is there a way to prevent this?
