Utility of forms for guest post submissions

For guest post submission, I understand it will be the best to have the writers register first to the website and then use the inbuilt editor. I fail to understand the utility of forms (WPForms, Ninja) in the process. Yes, they allow to post articles without registering but may not equal the facilities that the WordPress provides through its admin dashboard. I seek the opinion on this issue which may be subjective.
