Good morning WP World,
I am new at Wordpress and I'm trying to help out a charity (www.ChildrenWithCancer.org). I've created basic sites before in Dreamweaver and I'm blown away by how awesome Wordpress looks. I've been doing lots of research trying to answer this question and I figured I should just ask to see if someone more experienced can help me.
I'm trying to move the full functionality of this site (really just a registration form) http://www.hatsonday.org into the "Hats On Day" page (far right in top-nav) of http://www.childrenwithcancer.org.
The issue is the registration form is hosted by EasyPurl and the ChildrenwithCancer site is hosted by Wordpress. Plus, ChildrenwithCancer uses Constant Contact for the email marketing vendor and registration site uses EasyPurl. The GOAL is to get rid of EasyPurl all together.
From what I've learned, plugins are the magic of WP. The people managing the WP site have the Constant Contact plugin installed. Within it, I see an ad for Gravity Forms from the creator of the Constant Contact plugin but that's $30 or so (which I'd pay if it works!).
I think my issue is I need the registration form to send a personalized, email with graphics upon submission. The form plugins I've seen only send basic txt emails. The reg. form also has a personalized confirmation page which I'd need to replicate in WP as well.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?? I'm really trying to save this charity money.
I really appreciate anyone's help!
Best,
Tim
